We got a call about a cat who needed a leg amputation. But the cat was so she and afraid that it took 6 weeks before people were able to catch it. When finally catches we took her to the clinic where we started the procedure for her leg amputation. Joni is a very shy girl who is traumatized. We respect her boundaries and slowly she starts to trust us. Joni will always say hi when we are cleaning the cat toilets and is also com8ng down to the living room. But it is all on her tempo, she wants you to pet her but you have to keep in mind it needs to go slow. In time she will learn like she is doing now that there are also people she can trust and that doesn’t have to be afraid for us. With a lot of patience, affection and sweet words Joni will learn that she can trust you and once that is happened she will be the cat she really wants to be. Affectionate and cuddly .
